Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent provider in our network. Not to Enjoypayment Walk-In Tubs staff doing the work. Enjoypayment Walk-In Tubs makes the introduction. The provider takes it from there.
The provider is a local business. It has its own crew, schedule, prices and warranty terms. Treat the first talk like a job interview. You are the one hiring.
What the Provider May Ask
Expect simple questions. They help the provider give a useful quote.
- What do you want: a walk-in tub, a walk-in shower, or a tub replacement?
- Who will use it? Any mobility limits?
- How big is the bathroom? Where is it in the house?
- Is the tub on a slab, a wood floor or over a basement?
- What is the age of your plumbing?
- Do you have photos you can share?
Older homes may have cast-iron or galvanized pipes. Say so if you know. It changes the plan.
Questions Worth Asking
Write these down before you talk.
- Can I get the quote in writing?
- What does the price include and leave out?
- Will you need to change the plumbing or the floor?
- How long will the bathroom be out of use?
- What warranty comes with the product and the labor?
- Can you show me your license and insurance?
- Can you help document the work if I plan to ask my insurer about a claim? Some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your policy.
Costs vary a lot by job. Typical U.S. walk-in tub and walk-in shower projects can run from a few thousand dollars to well over ten thousand. Get a written quote.
You Stay in Charge
You can say no. You can ask for a second opinion. You can take a day or a week to think. A good provider will not rush you.
Nothing is final until you sign with the provider. Enjoypayment Walk-In Tubs is not a party to that deal.
